Amiri Diwan

The Amiri Diwan is the main seat of governance in the State of Qatar, the sovereign organ therein, and the administrative office of His Highness the Emir of the country, and it is the link between His Highness and all governmental and non-governmental agencies at home and abroad. It informs him of the most important developments locally and internationally, and presents draft laws and legislative tools for consideration Approving it, and communicating its directives to the concerned authorities.

Qatar Digital Government

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in the State of Qatar is the government agency responsible for regulating and developing the communications and information technology sector in the State of Qatar. The Ministry works to implement the Qatari government's policies in the field of communications and information technology and to promote technology and innovation in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, as well as to provide high-quality services to citizens and companies in the State of Qatar.

The Single Window initiative is part of Qatar's endeavor to attract local and foreign investments and enhance its position as an ideal destination for investment in the region and the world. This national initiative aims at facilitating the procedures of starting a business in the country and directing investments to the priority sectors identified in the National Development Strategy 2018-2022 This is done in a way that achieves the national vision to transform Qatar by 2030 into an advanced society capable of achieving sustainable development and securing a high standard of living for its people for generations to come.

Government Communications Office

The Government Communications Office aims to shed light on the priorities and vision of the State of Qatar by cooperating with the ministries and the most important bodies and providing support to government agencies to ensure prompt response to inquiries from media professionals. In an effort to enhance communication channels through coordination between government agencies and the public sector, the Government Communication Office reports directly to the Prime Minister.

Ministry of Finance

His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Qassim Al-Thani was appointed Minister of Commerce & Industry in October 2021. H.E. currently holds several high positions in the State of Qatar, including as a member of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs & Investment, Chairman of the Boards of Directors of Al Rayan Bank, Qatar Stock Exchange, the Advisory Board of the Investment Promotion Agency and the Qatar Financial Center Authority. H.E. is also the Deputy-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatar Development Bank and a Member of the Boards of Directors of the Qatar Investment Authority and Qatar Energy.
