

Income Tax

A service enabling various projects to submit an Income Tax Exemption Request via the Dhareeba Portal.
- The project must fall under the eligible economic sectors and activities.
- The project must be subject to the provisions of the Income Tax Law.
- Dependence on local markets must be at 30% at least.
- Maintain accurate and detailed accounting records, books and documents in compliance with both the laws of Qatar and international accounting standards.
- The number of employees must be no less than the number set by the relevant GTA President’s decision at the end of the first fiscal year and during each fiscal year of the period covered by the exemption.

From the homepage, click the "Requests" menu, then select the "Exemption from Corporate Income Tax" tile.

Click the "Start now" button.

The taxpayer completes the tax exemption request by entering the required data and uploading the required attachments.

After adding the details, including the relationship details, the taxpayer adds the activity and location details.

The taxpayer fills in the required information on each screen and saves it.

A confirmation message will appear acknowledging the receipt of the exemption request.

A notification is sent to the taxpayer acknowledging the receipt of the request.

The GTA studies the exemption request submitted by the taxpayer.

The GTA sends the taxpayer a notification informing him of the approval or denial of the request.
